CELPIP-General preparation

CELPIP preparation resources

Choose a resource by what you need to do today: complete an exercise, study an answer, check a score range or plan your next week.

A useful first session

Try the 11-question Reading exercise and one Listening recording. Then choose one Writing or Speaking task and make your own response before studying a model. Note one issue you can practise, such as missing a condition, underdeveloping a reason or losing time in preparation.

Anonymous objective previews provide deterministic answer review. The anonymous Writing and Speaking previews share one AI grade per IP address per 24 hours. Signed-in Practice Hub allowances and full-mock entitlements are separate; see each exercise’s current access information.

Complete an exercise

Anonymous task previews let you start immediately. The signed-in Practice Hub and full mocks have their own access rules.

Writing practice

Choose an email or survey task and use the existing bounded response editor.

Practice Hub

More reviewed exercises with account-based free limits and Pro access.

Study worked answers

Original educational examples are separate from the answers released after a graded practice attempt. Read the annotations, then try a fresh prompt.

Writing samples

Email and survey examples with word counts, development and revision notes.

Speaking samples

Eight-task collections with response audio, transcripts and commentary.

Understand scores

Official raw-score charts are approximate and overlap. Tools return compatible ranges rather than an exact predicted official result.

Plan and choose your preparation

Build a plan around your exam date and current evidence. A study plan is a practice schedule, not a score guarantee.

Retake guide

Decide what evidence you need before booking another attempt.

Learn the official task families

The free CELPIP course covers four Reading parts, six Listening parts, two Writing tasks and eight Speaking tasks. Use the matching task lesson to understand the method, an original educational sample to see how an answer develops, and a fresh exercise to test whether you can apply it.

A template gives you a planning structure. A sample shows one response to one prompt. A practice result supplies evidence from your attempt. Keep those roles distinct when you choose your next activity.
