Difficulty can change as the test progresses
Selected Reading and Listening tasks use PrepEx's internal difficulty routing. Read and Select appears as 16 separate five-second word decisions, so each response can inform the next selection instead of arriving as one fixed word list.
PrepEx does not claim to reproduce Duolingo's item bank, IRT calibration, adaptive selector, proctoring, or operational scoring. The questions are original PrepEx practice content.

Before you start a full test
How many tests are included?
There are six full-length tests. Each contains a different private question set with 35 timed tasks across all 13 task families.
Are these official DET tests?
No. They are independent PrepEx practice simulations using original content and internal practice estimates.
Do I need DET Pro?
Yes, DET Pro unlocks all six full tests. You can still use the separate Practice Hub for free task practice.
