For Academic Task 1, watch for explanations the chart doesn't support. 'Sales fell because prices rose' needs evidence of the cause, not just two changes happening at the same time.

Yes, if the visual actually shows those changes over the same period. 'While' connects the observations without claiming one caused the other.
