Thinking about IELTS on computer. How do you practise typing for Writing? If someone types slowly, does it affect the score?

I would say computer delivered is better than taking the test on paper; This is primarily because of reading and writing sections where you don't lose time as you do on the paper based test.
My primary tip would be using "prepex.ai" for your practice test, there are so many available tests in the pro package. Moreover, start your digital diary on google doc or notion. After a couple of weeks' practicing, you will see substantial development in your typing speed.
Let me know how your development goes.

Does IELTS on computer have spellcheck or autocorrect? Should I turn those off when practising in Google Docs?

There's a word counter, but no spellcheck or autocorrect in the typed Writing test. Turn those off when practising so you're checking the spelling yourself.

Yes, as @clearspark said there is not autocorrect or spellcheck (otherwise that'd been too easy) but you can see the word count as you type.
Actually you can still keep the spellcheck turned on as you practice since it's gonna help you see the wrong versions of the words easily. You will learn as a result of this.
