IELTS Listening discussions

I know the words when I see the transcript, but cant catch them in the recording. After reading it, replaying feels a bit like remembering the answer. When do you move to a fresh clip? Looking for something around 10 minutes, maybe dictation or repeating after the speaker.

If you miss a Listening answer, do you guess quickly or move on and come back? Not sure how to stop thinking about the missed one. Is there a short exercise for that?

On a north-up map, if the person is facing east and the speaker says turn left, does that put them towards the top of the map? I want to check the direction without redrawing the whole thing.

In a Listening answer, is "color" accepted if the answer key says "colour"? Or do the letters have to match the key exactly?

For a made-up question asking the appointment time, suppose the speaker says, 'Tuesday at ten... sorry, ten is full. Make it eleven.' Does 'make it' show that eleven replaces ten here?
