If you miss a Listening answer, do you guess quickly or move on and come back?
Not sure how to stop thinking about the missed one. Is there a short exercise for that?

I'd move on if guessing distracts you from the audio. The questions follow recording order, so dwelling on one can cost the next.
For practice, try skipping one question in a section and picking up the next without pausing. Check the transcript after.

Could use one of these short Listening tasks. Check just before the missed answer too: was it hearing the words or recognising the answer?

This learner misses the next answer while writing. Would skipping a question help with that, or should they practise writing while listening?

If the 8 minutes is over, do you finish checking the answers you already heard before starting a new task? And for a missed one, keep the next 30 seconds free for the questions that follow.

What if writing the previous answer is what makes you miss the next one? Would you practise that separately?
