PrepExI used to be able to express my ideas quite well in my native language, but since I started using AI frequently, I sometimes struggle to generate ideas and sentences on my own.

Could try freewriting for ten minutes with no AI or dictionary first. It shows which ideas still form on their own, then you can check the gap for grammar and vocabulary after.

After that first draft, the next step could be one unclear sentence: ask for an explanation of the problem, then close the feedback and try rewriting it before comparing.

Also check whether a correction changes your idea. For example, changing 'may help students' to 'will help all students' makes the claim much stronger, even though both phrases are grammatical.
