Which English test should I take for Canadian immigration?
IRCC accepts three English tests for Express Entry and most economic programs: CELPIP-General, IELTS General Training, and PTE Core. TOEFL and DET are not accepted. The best of the three depends on your comfort with live examiners, accents, and typing - which the diagnostic measures directly.
Is the Test Finder really free?

How accurate are the predicted score ranges?
Predictions are anchored on official concordance tables from ETS, IELTS, Pearson, IRCC, and Duolingo, and are shown as ranges with a confidence rating rather than exact scores. A 25-minute diagnostic cannot replace a full exam - treat them as a well-informed estimate.
How long does it take?
The questionnaire takes about 2 minutes and already produces a preliminary match. The full diagnostic takes about 25 minutes. You can skip the writing or speaking tasks and still get a verdict with lower confidence.
Which English test is the easiest?
