What if a passage just says “in the morning” but the statement says “at 8am”? Would that be Not Given? That’s the sort of detail I’m still unsure about.

With only 'in the morning', it's Not Given: 8am is possible but not confirmed. Check the rest of the passage too. Another sentence could confirm 8am or contradict it.

Could note where the time appears too. If the clue is three lines later, point to both sentences so you don't lose that context when reviewing.

The direction matters too: if the passage says 8am and the statement says 'in the morning', that statement would be True. Making the time less specific is different from adding an exact time.

Bharti, is passage 3 harder for you because of the language, or because theres not much time left by then? Wondering if practising it first sometimes would help us see which problem it actually is

Trying Passage 3 first in practice could show whether time is the problem. If it's still confusing, there's more to work on. Doesn't mean you have to use that order in the test.

Could finish the unanswered questions after the timer, before checking the key. Keep those answers separate. Then you can see what extra time helped with, without counting it in the timed score.
