That's a good one yet it would be better to write: "I work remotely, so I have a pretty sedentary lifestyle."

It is B, A sedentary lifestyle is when you basically just sit and work from home. This is mostly used to refer to people who work remotely and spend too much time on their computers.

That's mostly yes, however there's a catch; sometimes the ending of the paragraph may change towards something different although this is a rarity. Double-checking is always recommended.

Task 1 is an academic report actually. I would not recommend memorizing a certain pattern for each question type since the presented information may call for a different type of grouping or comparison.

Additionally, make sure you focus on the meaning of the questions rather than the words in them. If you try to match the words, you will lose a lot of time. Focus on the meaning that the question tries to convey.

No need to scare people who haven't started their IELTS studies yet. One step at a time is actually "enough". Following the same paragraph pattern works for 90% of the times.
