Hello dear.
Well overall 8.0 is a great target to achieve. If your English is already upper-intermediate, what you have to do is to focus on tips and strategies for each section. To secure 8.0 overall. aim 9 in listening and reading and 7.0 in the remaining two sections.
Please tell me about your current studies.

Is it because listening and reading are the easy parts in the IELTS?

Actually, I would not deem them as easy but they are the ones that take relatively shorter to improve with the right technic.

For Reading, I'd suggest practising with one passage and the answers in front of you. Look at each question, find the exact sentence in the text that matches, and try to explain why other options are wrong. It builds the habit of checking evidence before choosing.

Do you mean learning the structure of each part, like the four paragraphs in Task 1, or learning which phrases to use? The tech side is quicker to fix.

Yes, if you know the structure (the technicality of the exam), then the rest is gonna be all about practicing.
