Which science words can I practise?
The word bank includes hypothesis, empirical and peer review. A hypothesis is a proposed explanation to test. Empirical evidence comes from observation or experiment, while peer review is evaluation by other specialists. Avoid treating these as interchangeable signs of proof.
How should I use this pack?
Start with the Before self-check, then study the word bank and complete the gap-fill, matching and word-formation tasks. Use the reading, speaking and writing activities to practise the words in context. Finish with the After self-check and compare what you can recall.
How can I use this vocabulary in IELTS?
Choose words that fit your meaning and check their collocations. Try using a few in your own paragraph or spoken answer, then revise any awkward phrasing. Learning advanced words alone does not determine an IELTS band score.
