Thanks sir. After reading an article, do we write a summary or reasons for and against? not sure how to turn it into essay ideas

Bharti, is passage 3 harder for you because of the language, or because theres not much time left by then? Wondering if practising it first sometimes would help us see which problem it actually is

Okay, thanks

@The Hero Teacher, could you work through one Reading question and show why a wrong option loses, especially when it uses the same words as the passage?

riya28 commented · 22 September 2026

For headings we look for the main idea, but matching paragraph information could ask about one small detail. How should that change the way we read the paragraph?

Zarifa, is it finding the right bit or choosing between options that takes longer? Also should we read all four options before the passage?

Hasan, is it finding the section or choosing the word? For the second one, should we check if the gap needs a noun or verb first?

When one question is taking too long, how do you decide to leave it? Is there a rough time limit or does it depend on the question type? Sometimes it feels like the answer could be in the next sentence😅

@The Hero Teacher, if the passage only says 'in the morning' and the statement says 8am, is that Not Given? The lesson is mentioned but not the time. thats the bit Im unsure about

I'm also working on reading. Saw your last webinar recording. Thanks a lot for explaining.

Stuck between two headings

I keep getting stuck between two headings. One fits the start, the other fits the rest of the paragraph. How do you choose? rereading it isnt getting me anywhere
